We offer an alternative to the Department of Education's net price calculator. Our net price calculator is fully compliant with the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008. (In fact, it greatly exceeds their minimum requirements.)

Software as a Service (SaaS)

NetPriceCalc is offered as "Software as a Service," sometimes abbreviated "SaaS." SaaS is a relatively new delivery method which means:

• There's no software to install;
• There are no updates to download;
• Bug fixes are quickly and universally deployed;
• When upgrades come along, your software is upgraded "automagically;"
• You don't need to provision hardware for it.

NetPriceCalc is an application of cloud computing. Cloud computing provides the traditional benefits of a true colocation, but without the worries of hardware maintanence. NetPriceCalc is hosted with Rackspace in their Dallas/Fort Worth datacenter.
